Good wedding photography is about telling the story of the day… and giving you lasting memories to look back on for years to come.

For each wedding, we edit and provide hundreds of images – and depending on the wedding photography package chosen, we cover different parts of your wedding day. Below are sample photographs from different parts of a wedding day from venues across Essex, to help you decide what coverage you’d like, and to see more of our photography style.

Bride and Groom Preparation

Our coverage typically begins around two hours before the wedding ceremony and focusses on photographing the bride and bridesmaids getting ready – including the final stages of getting hair and make-up done. But it’s also a lot more fun… and is about capturing the excitement of the morning! As couples usually get ready at different locations, our second photographer option would be needed to get groom preparation before the ceremony.

Ceremony & Confetti

The wedding ceremony is what the day is all about… exchanging vows and rings, the tears and laughter. Whilst the ceremony can vary from a church service or indoor venue, through to outside under a gazebo – we always focus on getting those key moments and emotions.

Wedding Groups

Posed group photos with family and friends are often a key part of the wedding day. You can have as few or as many posed photos as you’d like – but we try to make sure they are planned in advance and take up as little time as possible on the wedding day. It’s great to get a mixture posed and fun group wedding photos…

Wedding Couple Portraits

After the ceremony we take you for couples photos around the wedding venue. This is only for a short period of time and gives you the opportunity to have some private time together as a newly married couple – on an otherwise busy day! This is the opportunity to explore the grounds of the wedding venue and take a mixture of posed and natural photos.

Wedding Evening Reception

Whether it be cutting of the cake, the first dance or the wedding party on the dancefloor, every wedding reception is different. After the formalities of the day, the evening is a great chance for brides and grooms to really spend time with their guests and let their hair down.

Sunset and Night Photos

If you choose a wedding photography package for us to stay with you until late in the evening, there will be the opportunity for us to go outside and take some creative night portraits. On a clear sunny evening we plan our time and the location of the sunset to get colourful evening skies as a background for your photographs. But even if it’s dark or wet we can use lighting set ups to get some unique night portrait photos.
